Rachel Massimilla, LMSW
Rachel earned a master's degree from Wayne State University in Social Work and has over 15 years of experience as a therapist. Rachel has a strong passion for working with children and families. She has been a supervisor for an outpatient program in a community mental health agency. Rachel has been certified in an evidence-based parenting program which empowers parents to promote cooperation and pro-social skills in their children. Her objective is to provide a supportive and encouraging environment in which children and families work on identifying meaningful goals. Learning reasonable and effective means to achieve these goals leads to the ultimate goal of a more healthy and self sufficient family environment. Rachel has experience working with children ages 5-21 and their families both individually and in a group setting.
