Megan Atkinson, MA, LLP
Under the direct supervision of Dustin Shepler, PhD, LP, HSP, CST
Megan received her master’s degree at the Michigan School of Professional Psychology. She practices from a Humanistic-Existential orientation which focuses on authenticity, honesty, human potential, creativity, and the healing power of the therapeutic relationship. Her approach includes unconditional positive regard, genuineness, and empathic understanding as she focuses on the best interest and welfare of her clients.
Megan works with adults in individual and group settings and uses an integrated therapeutic approach with emphasis on Existentialism, Psychodynamic, Supportive and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapies. Her goal is to help clients become more self-actualized as well as to foster positive change in the lives of her clients. Megan has also completed training in Trauma Resolution Therapy and Forensic Interviewing of Children.
