When human beings experience trauma or severe life stressors, it is not uncommon for one to feel as though their life is unraveling, to feel unsafe, and not know which step to take first. One of Kaitlyn’s greatest passions is bringing healing to people’s lives and listening to her clients’ lived experiences. She believes the therapeutic relationship involves input from both the client and the counselor. It is a primary focus of hers that her clients receive personalized care to benefit from counseling. Kaitlyn provides her clients with a safe, welcoming, comforting, and non-judgmental space so that they can share their personal concerns, trauma, goals, and fears. She helps her clients to explore their interpersonal relationships, thoughts, feelings, and emotions. Kaitlyn has experience working with domestic violence and sexual assault clients, and enjoys working with older adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
