Deb Kenjorski, MA, LLPC
Under the direct supervision of Christina Zurkiwskyj, MA, LPC
Deb Kenjorski’s therapy style is warm and personable, and she prides herself in being very easy to talk to. She understands that it is normal to experience difficult-to-navigate challenges in life and believes that counseling is a powerful tool to help people move through such challenges. Deb will often incorporate humor, art, and other creative elements into the therapy process, as well as mindfulness practices, homeopathic and nutritional support. She has training in mediation, and extensive experience working with middle-school-age children and teens, members of the LGBTQ+ community, couples (and other relationships), and with the challenges that small business owners face.
Deb encourages her clients to explore beyond the issues that first bring them to her office, allowing them to use learned therapy techniques to make lasting changes. No matter age, background, gender, orientation, or life situation, Deb’s clients can expect to receive unconditional positive regard - which translates to judgement free respect, validation of needs, and sincere caring.
Deb is a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor that completed her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Oakland University and earned master’s degrees in both Clinical Psychology from The Michigan School of Psychology and Media Psychology from William James College.
