Who is this group for?
This group may be a good fit for mothers experiencing:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Bipolar Disorder
- Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)
- Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Mothers with other mental health concerns may also be appropriate for the group following an initial evaluation.

Virtual Only - Tuesdays at 11 am and Sundays at 8 pm. All sessions are 60 minutes.

Do I have to attend every week?
How many weeks must I attend to learn all the skills listed?
If you attend consistently you would acquire all the skills in 12 sessions but each session uses them differently because there are different people present and giving different perspectives.
Is this group confidential?
This group is confidential within the same guidelines as normal therapy so with exceptions for: suicide, homicide, or child abuse.
Will there be homework or handouts?
There will be optional materials available.
Can I bring my baby or child if I do not have childcare?
This is a virtual group so you can definitely bring your child if you need to.
Is this a structured approach?
This is a less structured approach and more responsive to the group interaction.
Can I attend the class twice in one week or will the material overlap?
Do I need to meet with you prior to attending?
How long is the class?
The class is 1 hour long, held twice a week for convenience for the schedule of the mom!
What happens if I become dysregulated during class and I need follow up support?

If you are not currently a Silver Linings client, a clinical intake with
Kera Sanford, LMSW is required to establish care. This intake will review your history, goals, and treatment plan.
This group is expected to begin in early August, pending enrollment. Once at least two participants have enrolled, we will reach out with details regarding the official start date and next available cycle.
