Cost

Most insurance plans provide coverage for group therapy services, which may reduce or eliminate out-of-pocket costs. Private Pay option also available.

Do I have to attend every week?
You do not have attend every session. It’s a skill and support group so if you attend sporadically you can still pick up some skills and get some support.

If you attend consistently you would acquire all the skills in 12 sessions but each session uses them differently because there are different people present and giving different perspectives.

This group is confidential within the same guidelines as normal therapy so with exceptions for: suicide, homicide, or child abuse.

There will be optional materials available.

This is a virtual group so you can definitely bring your child if you need to.

This is a less structured approach and more responsive to the group interaction.

You can definitely attend both sessions and get different input because different people are attending and giving different experiences.

If you are a current client at SLC you will not need to meet with me prior to joining the group. If you are new to SLC you must set up an intake appointment with me. We need to identify a diagnosis to bill through insurance and complete a treatment plan.

The class is 1 hour long, held twice a week for convenience for the schedule of the mom!

If you become dysregulated and need more support, feel free to log off or walk away from the group, regroup, and if you still need more support contact me via email or text and I will make time for you as soon as I possibly can
