Hi, I’m Stacey. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and proud graduate of Albion College and Oakland University. I work from a client-centered, compassionate approach that’s all about meeting you where you are—with warmth, honesty, curiosity, and a touch of humor. I truly believe that everyone has strengths worth leaning into, and my goal is to help you feel more connected, empowered, and supported as you navigate life’s challenges.
Therapy with me is a collaborative process built on trust and connection. I care deeply about creating a space where you feel safe, seen, and understood. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, or wanting to deepen your relationship with yourself or others, I’m here to walk alongside you as you grow, heal, and find more joy in your day-to-day life.
I work with children, teens, and adults, and I have a special passion for supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenting. As someone who holds a Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C), I understand how layered and overwhelming these seasons can be—and I strive to create a nurturing, nonjudgmental space for women and families to feel heard, validated, and cared for. I also enjoy helping parents strengthen their bonds with their children and navigate the highs and lows of parenting.
I’m also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) by an EMDRIA-approved trainer. EMDR is a powerful, evidence-based therapy for processing trauma and reducing distress from past experiences. It’s one of the many tools I use to help clients move forward with confidence and peace of mind.
Outside of work, I love trying new things, learning about and interacting with animals, and being near (or on!) the ocean—just not in it. I’m part of a tap dance community, which brings me so much joy, and I love adventuring, laughing, and having fun with my husband and two kids. Life is full, and I’m grateful for every bit of it.
