Hi, I’m Laura—a therapist who’s deeply passionate about helping people feel seen, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives. I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan, and for over a decade, I’ve worked with individuals, couples, and families through life’s many challenges and turning points.
I approach therapy as a collaborative process. I believe you’re the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you—helping you clarify your goals, strengthen your sense of self, and build practical tools to manage whatever comes your way. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, relationship struggles, parenting stress, or a major life transition, I strive to create a space where you can show up fully—without judgment and at your own pace.
Much of my work focuses on supporting postpartum moms, young adults, and couples working through the complexities of life and its many changes. I also offer Christian counseling for those who want to integrate their faith into their healing journey. Additionally, I identify as an ally to the LBGTQ+ community, who will prioritize creating safe and accepting space.
Outside of sessions, I’m a proud Michigan football fan, a devoted follower of the Detroit Lions and Red Wings, and someone who values quality time with my husband and our kids. I love reading, finding still moments in a busy life, and doing my best to make others feel like they matter—both in and out of the therapy room.
