Hi, I’m Sierra! I’m a licensed clinical social worker with a passion for supporting kids, teens, and adults as they navigate life’s challenges and discover their strengths. I earned my Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Michigan State University, and before becoming a therapist, I worked as a second-grade teacher. That experience showed me just how powerful relationships and emotional safety are in helping people grow and thrive.
In therapy, I focus on building strong, trusting relationships with every client—because I believe healing happens when we feel seen, heard, and accepted. My approach is warm, collaborative, and flexible. I pull from strength-based and person-centered practices, and often incorporate play, creative expression, mindfulness, and practical tools to meet each person where they are.
I especially enjoy helping children manage big emotions, supporting teens as they work through identity and life transitions, and walking alongside adults who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready for change. I also have experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and LGBTQ+ identity exploration.
Whether your child is struggling at school, your teen is feeling lost, or you’re an adult trying to navigate life’s next chapter—I’m here to help you or your family feel more grounded, capable, and connected.
Outside the therapy room, I love being outside—gardening, bike riding, and going to the beach are some of my favorite things. I’m also a big music fan, proud Detroit Lions supporter, and cat mom to Thomas O’Malley (yes, like The Aristocats).
