Hi, I’m Leah! I’ve been working as a mental health therapist for over 15 years, and I still feel incredibly honored every time someone invites me into their healing process. I’m a licensed clinical social worker with both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Michigan. I also hold an advanced certification in addiction treatment and am a registered yoga teacher (RYT-200), specializing in trauma-informed yoga and somatic practices.
I work with teens and adults in individual therapy, offering support with trauma, substance use, and the many challenges that come with adolescence and life transitions. I tailor each session to fit your unique goals and personality, often using approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing.
My style is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded. I aim to create a space where you feel truly seen and supported—where you can do meaningful work at your own pace and maybe even laugh from time to time.
I offer in-person and telehealth therapy for my Michigan clients, and telehealth therapy for clients located in Illinois.
Outside of work, I live with my husband and our spirited little dog, Moxie. When I’m not providing therapy or teaching yoga, you’ll probably find me reading a good book or spending time with the fish in our koi pond.
