Hi, I’m Kristina. I’m a licensed clinical social worker, Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC), and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan in 2016, with a focus on Interpersonal Practice and Mental Health.
As someone in recovery from substance use disorder and a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I bring a deep personal understanding and compassion to my work with clients. I’m passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges in a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space. I welcome and affirm people of all identities and relationship structures—including those who are polyamorous, kinky, involved in BDSM, or exploring sexual identity and expression.
I also specialize in trauma-informed care and am dedicated to helping clients process and heal from difficult experiences at a pace that feels right for them. Whether you’re managing anxiety, depression, stress, or life transitions—or exploring your identity or recovery journey—I will work with you to create a personalized, empowering counseling experience.
I primarily work with adults and offer both in-person and virtual appointments in Michigan. I also provide affordable private-pay rates and accept most insurances. For those considering therapy, I’m happy to offer a free 15-minute video consultation so you can see if we’re a good fit.
In every session, I prioritize honesty, respect, and integrity—and I actively ask for feedback so that your voice stays at the center of the therapy process.
Outside of the therapy room, I love singing, dancing, acting, and taking long walks. Being an aunt and a Godmother brings me so much joy, and I value the meaningful connections in my life deeply—both personally and professionally.
