Hi, I’m Kaitlyn! I’m a Limited Licensed Counselor in the state of Michigan. I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Michigan State University—Go Green!
I know that when life feels overwhelming—whether due to trauma, life transitions, or relationship struggles—it can be hard to know where to start. One of my greatest passions as a therapist is helping people begin that journey and offering a safe space where they can feel heard, validated, and supported.
I believe that therapy should always be a collaborative process—you are the expert on your own life, and I am here to help guide, support, and empower you as we work together toward your goals. I take a strengths-based, holistic approach, exploring the many layers of what makes you you so that we can build on your resilience and help you move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
I provide a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where you can bring your full self—including your struggles, fears, hopes, and dreams. I also understand the importance of tailoring therapy to fit your unique needs and experiences.
I have experience working with clients who have faced domestic violence and sexual assault, and I also enjoy working with older adolescents, adults, couples, and families on a wide range of concerns.
If you’re ready to take that first step (even if you’re not sure what it looks like yet), I will walk alongside you on your path to healing and growth.
