Hi, I’m Donna—a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s in Counseling from Spring Arbor University and a Bachelor’s in Counseling Psychology from Rochester College. I know that starting therapy with someone new can feel intimidating, so I aim to create a space that is safe, welcoming, and judgment-free. My approach is compassionate and tailored to each individual, recognizing that no two people are exactly alike. I often draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client-Centered Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Mindfulness practices, depending on your unique needs and goals.
My focus is on building a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship where you feel supported on your path toward healing and growth. Together, we’ll work to develop effective strategies for coping, increasing self-awareness, and improving overall well-being—so you can live a more peaceful, empowered, and fulfilling life.
When I’m not working with clients, I enjoy spending time with my family—including my husband, two children, and three beautiful grandchildren—listening to music, and getting my hands in the garden. These moments of joy and connection fuel my passion for helping others find balance and fulfillment in their own lives.
