Understanding Self & Others: An Interpersonal “Here-and-Now” Therapy Group for Young Adults

Why Join?

This weekly group offers young adults, typically between ages 20 and 30 (with some flexibility), a supportive and insight-focused environment to explore how they relate to friends, partners, family, and themselves. Using real-time (“here-and-now”) feedback, group members gain awareness of unhelpful interaction patterns and practice healthier, more effective ways of connecting with others.

HOW TO ENROLL

If you’re interested, please contact Silver Linings Counseling by filling out the form below to let us know you’re interested. You’ll be scheduled for a free 15–20 minute virtual consultation with Dr. Smendik to determine if the group is a good fit for your needs and goals.

If you are not currently a Silver Linings client, a clinical intake with Dr. Smendik is required to establish care. This intake will review your history, goals, and treatment plan.

Once 6 to 8 participants are confirmed, you will be notified of the group’s start date for the upcoming cycle.
